"Everything was great. Highly recommend. This not a classic B&B as no in-house breakfast is offered but rather a nearby cafe with discounted breakfast option. Verona's old town is a tourist zoo (...for both good and silly reasons) but it does have charming back streets to decompress. We felt lucky to be able to spend the hottest part of a heat wave in our lovely central air conditioned room and then experience the coliseum for a very special late evening event. We also happened to be there during an organ music festival. So I'd say it's well worth to research the cultural events during your stay. That Romeo & Juliet balcony is not one of them."
"This hotel is excellent. We had room on 4th floor with balcony. Room was very clean and looks like new. Breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of sweet and savories options. Staff was very nice and helpful. But the best is location of this hotel: 3 minutes to Arena di Verona, waking distance to all attractions. We had great weekend."

"I find it hard to believe that this thoroughly outdated and profoundly depressing property has such a high overall rating on this website. The apartment we were allocated was nothing like the pictures. Without exaggeration everything looked like it was from the 70s. We didn’t have any hot water for the duration of our stay. We reported this to two different staff members who couldn’t have been less interested in this. Rather, our reporting of the issue seemed to be treated as an inconvenience.
Poor location in a not particularly nice part of town. Inconvenient access to the old town. Very overpriced for what it is; it’s clearly capitalising on Verona not being equipped for the amount of tourism it attracts. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your time in Verona! "
