Lovely to be met at the house for a walk through the property. The home really is a perfect base for exploring Provence."

"We are a group of 6 adults who stayed in the home for 7 days. It was an amazing place to stay as we explored this region of France. We were able to visit wineries, the amazing market and all of the sites in St. Remy and neighboring towns. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked a few dinners. We were also able to walk to fabulous restaurants. Quiet home in walking distance to a great town. Highly recommend."

"Rustic rather than luxurious, great as a base. Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. The toilet didn’t have a basin so had to walk to bathroom to wash hands, shower tiles were cracked and needed some work. The owners were lovely and took a lot of time to show us around the property when we arrived and to make sure we were comfortable, they lived...

"Les + : La maison est dans un écrin de verdure. Elle est idéalement placée pour qui désire visiter les environs. La piscine est magnifique et malgré la chaleur elle était très fraîche. Très bon contact avec l’hôte et sa famille. Les -: Le portail doit rester toujours fermé à clé et lorsque vous sortez vous devez chaque fois ouvrir les deux portes , passer la voiture ressortir et refermer le portail. Le chemin qui mène à la place de parc est assez serré pour qui possède une voiture un peu...

Its location is quite remote (the property is in the village of Malataverne), very close to Lussan; and situated on the side of a hill - access is down a narrow bumpy lane (which will be a challenge for cars with low clearance). And there are quite a few steps to the property itself - i would say the property is not ideal for young children (under ~8 years) or people over ~65 years. The property can be described as "quirky"...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The Maison was well equipped, clean and Rachel was very helpful and available to us. The only reason we didn’t give her all fives was it was listed for 4 adults. The house was too small for 4 but Rachel offered the other two companions other accommodations. We highly recommend the Maison for 2-3 adults max."

"A small farmhouse that has been restored with great taste. It lies on a plateau just outside the charming town of St-Remy; just a few minutes drive will bring you to shops, bars, restaurants and petrol stations. There are views to the Alpilles from the top of the plateau and several tracks in the surrounding nature reserve. Inside was plesantly warm during our stay (mid-March), with two reversible air-conditioning units and a lovely wood-pellet-burning stove that heated up the main rooms very...

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
