"Note that you are not staying at the actual hotel, but at the apartments a few yards away. This means that there is no staff on site and you will not have access to the hotel amenities. The studio was clean and comfortable but somewhat outdated. The bathroom shower door was barely hanging on and the toilet seat was loose. Aside from that, the views are incredible and the town is a short walk away. The room suited our needs for a short stay. "

"Hands down the BEST place I have ever stayed in my life. I wasn’t a guest. I was family here! The service was above and beyond! The ENTIRE staff is so friendly and kind and will do anything to help your stay be perfect. They helped us figure out a scooter to get around town and had food and wine for us at our private room as soon as we got in. The food at the restaurant is incredible and a must! "Good hotel as a base to travel to Naples and the Amalfi coast with Pompei on your doorstep. The hotel is located in a quiet area set back from the main road with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Parking was always available in the hotel car park. Lovely pool and gardens although the sunbeds can definitely do with being replaced as most of the legs were rusty, broken or both. Wi-fi does not reach the bedrooms. There is not a huge choice of places to eat within walking distance...

"Dolce Vita Residence is a great place to stay. The unit was clean and modern with a nice balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. Be aware that it is a taxi ride or long walk to town on a main road. There are also many stairs down to the unit. My advice travel light!"

"Beautiful location and accommodating staff. The ocean view is spectacular. Fewer tourists and wonderful beach access. However, overpriced relative to the suite amenities. Very noisy neighbourhood with constant barking dogs, motorcycle noise, and fireworks. Could hear noise from the apartment above. No microwave, outdated coffee maker. Had to purchase instant coffee and paper products from the nearby store. "

"Great location. Downfall is the very weak wifi connection. If you’re planning to do work or access the internet during your stay, this isn’t the place to do it. The building has 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, which costs 2 euros per machine. There’s 1 clothing iron in the laundry room to share for the entire complex, which doesn’t work very well so we’d suggest bringing a travel steamer/iron. Overall, we had a good time. "

"We liked the view of mount vesuvius from our window. It was walking distance from the train station and to the entrance of the Pompeii ruins. There was a nice garden with loungers and hammocks across from the property with a small pool. We had a lovely time here. "
