"Had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped home away from home. It was cool to stay in a castle! Iacopo took great care of us - helping us with things we needed before we even go there. The place is close to many good restaurants and we drove to Chianti and Siena for a quick visit. The pool was a bonus especially sine we were there in August. I can imagine how wonderful this would be as a wedding or anniversary venue. "

"We loved our very private three bedroom + three bath, two story apartment in this historic castle. It is spacious, beautifully furnished. And it has its own tower. The patio with arbor and view was a great place to dine. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. A good base from which to make day trips (Siena, Florence, Montepulciano). "Ok, it's not exactly medieval living... It's better! The Medieval family who built the castle that once was attached to this tower didn't have indoor plumbing. This gem has all the modern conveniences (including indoor plumbing, a kitchen, 1 1/2 bathrooms, heating and air conditioning) while being tucked away in a quaint little commune (Pratovecchio-Stia).
