"This was a great place to stay, situated in a small village just outside Lucca. Roomy and nicely furnished. We had the top floor apartment which had access to two balconies.Excellent value, lots of traditional style. A microwave and an electric kettle would have made it perfect."

"A very wet, musty odor overwhelmed us the second we walked in. They tried to make it look tidy and cute but it was an awful experience overall. There was mold on walls in a couple of spots and we were afraid to shower or even take our shoes off. They advertised a shared yard area but we couldn’t even get the back door to open. It wasn’t user error - several of us tried. There is no place to sit. Thank goodness it was just for a night. "

"We eventually managed to guess that check-in was via another app that is censored by VRBO. Parking is cramped - it is a small area with two other rentals. Silverware is very limited - there were only two forks and a single knife. Overall, it felt like a step down from a motel.It was clean, so there's that. You have to go through a small utility room not shown in the pictures to reach the bathroom. Your only view is of the car parking. It was a nice place to be away from during the day."
