"No es un hotel sino una casa donde vive el propietario y por donde que no sabía que íbamos y no estaba en casa, tampoco contesta al número de teléfono "

"Hotel was very basic, all rooms painted white, some areas had paint coming off the walls, and breakfast consisted of the cheapest cereals, croissants, ham, cheese etc that you could possibly find. Just disappointing. WiFi was good, and a good Park my area outside"

"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"We had the perfect stay at Dom Manuel! This family run hotel is warm, welcoming, and staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a large variety of foods available at breakfast to suit every taste, and when we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant, the service was impeccable and the food divine. "

Fantastic hotel.

"Very pleased with our hotel choice. The receptionist was extremely helpful and informative on our arrival. Our room is well appointed, clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel is situated the centre of Marvão everything is easily accessible. The views from our terrace are spectacular. We will certainly stay here again."

Surprised with reservation cancelled when arrived

"The reason I gave low grade for service is because when I arrived there there was NO reservation in my name and I had to pay again in higher tariff. I stay one hour talking at hotels.com, spoke to 5 different people and no one solved my situation. I had to call 3 times and in the last time they told me the reservation was cancelled and no refund was sent to my account or information. After one big day travelling it was a nightmare. I hope they improve their service."

Gorgeous hotel

"Stayed here for one night on a long day trip and it was very cute and typically portuguese. I would stay here again especially for what you get for the price it is a steal. A very cute town with many cute towns around it, really good place to rest on a road trip. I would stay again"
