"Lovely, clean, peaceful. And the staff were incredible - we left before breakfast, and they packed us fresh pastries to take with us. They met us at the counter with them at the crack of dawn. What a wonderful experience."

"What an exceptional spot! Marvao is incredible. The pousada is in a perfect location, and overlooking the plains below, it has a fabulous view. Our room, although small, was quite commodious and had historic traditional Portuguese furniture. Our dinner and breakfast were most enjoyable, although the dinner was not “gourmet”. Would we stay there again? Absolutely."

"Everything was wonderful ! Love the amount of pools and jacuzzi they have on first and second floor. The view from the room was amazing ! Few things need to be mentioned for all travelers : #1. They don’t have a bus or taxi service so if you need a ride need to call taxi ! #2. Mondays restaurant is closed so you only able to have sandwich ( nothing too fancy) and you can get drinks at bar ( huge plus). #3. If you reserve a room you get access to the spa , however , they charge 5 euros for hair cover to get into the water and keep an eye on your towel ; if you don’t bring the spa towel you will get charged for 30 euros at check out!! Someone stole mine so I didn’t know there’s a charge , therefore , just fyi . Finally, you can get breakfast in bed delivered ( no extra charge ) . Overall , worth money and worth time spent . 1out 5 I would give 4.5 star because few things mentioned. "

"This place served us well. We only stayed for a night, but it was set up that you could easily stay longer. Clean, spacious and great kitchen set up. Self checkin at night, so make sure you have codes to get into building and room. "

"Bad smell in bathroom. Couldnt adjust heating in the room. Staff barely interested in communication. Awful restaurant. Only a poor set menu while i was there. "

"The facilities and amenities are very nice and unique. Based on the fruit theme which the area is known for, it is a cherry lovers must-do. Every member of the staff is exceptional in their professionalism. I cannot say enough good things about Cherry Sculptures Hotel, and I highly recommend a stay to anyone that may be in the Covilhã area."
