"Walk up the stairs to top floor was strenuous, especially after a day of walking the city, making it inconvenient to pop back to the room. Check in was smooth and Manuel kindly waited when we got lost (caution-there is more than one “Palazzo Medici Apartments” in Florence). It took us a couple of days to realize the AC is adjusted by controller that looks like a TV remote. Prior to that, mosquitos are us up. We ran out of TP. "Great communication,gave approximate time for arrival the day before,sent a text when we arrived and somebody met us within five minutes. There are only stairs to the top floor,so may be a challenge for some,but good for working off the pasta !! "We were left really disappointed by our stay here. Communication had been great prior to the stay, and the apartment is in a good location and well maintained. But so many things went wrong during our stay that we can’t leave the positive review we had hoped to!
