"Staying at this old monastery is such a uniquely different guest experience! Surrounded by fantastic old architecture and history, in a quiet location, with beautiful courtyards, Italian garden and an ornately decorated old church. Staff was friendly. Dine in the courtyard which is in a romantic setting, whereas the restaurant lacks ambiance. Amazing breakfast options, dining on patio overlooking the Italian garden. The room was small, but we were happy to get a queen bed."

"This place is amazing! The views are spectacular. The room was perfect and the grounds are exactly what you’d expect for Tuscany. The owner is on hand at all times and is very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until midnight. He stayed up for us and talked us through the directions there. You do need a car if you’re staying here since there is no public transportation. "

"We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. "- Nice and polite staff, especially the front desk and the vallets; - Spacious and clean rooms; - Our apartment's bathroom was tight - if there are special needs, it would be better to call the hotel and ask about - Location is good and quiet: a 10 min walk to reach Piazza del Campo. If you are driving, it's great because it's inside the walls, but you can go with your car until the hotel parking lot without crossing the narrow streets - Beautiful view of the valleys from the Terrace - Nice and fresh breakfast."
