We didn't want to drive and used the bus service from the village to go to Lucca, around a 15 mins journey. The host, Fiona, is fantastic and easy to communicate with. "Antonio and Sylvia are amazing! They greeted us when we got there, and took us through the house. Then they were readily available whenever we had questions, via text or email was best. Then when we left, they gave us the most thoughtful gift to remember our vacation. The view from the house over the towns is unmatched and we had so much fun in the evenings sitting out on the patio playing cards or just talking. We highly recommend this house!"

"The villa was everything we had hoped for. You can get away from it all but are still close to the adorable town of Peccioli and just an hour to Florence. The owners are highly responsive and have thought of everything. The A/C works quite well if you must use it (we didn’t need it so much in late May), and the WiFi worked really well. "Beautiful villa only 2.5 miles from center of Lucca, but felt worlds away. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was conveniently placed close to local amenities (grocery store, etc.). Wonderful outdoor sitting/eating areas and local Osteria (5’ walk) was excellent (had dinner there twice in 4 days). Local church bells tolling on the hour just added to the charm of the setting! Above all, Luciano was a gracious and informative host. We would love to come back someday for another stay...

"The house is very spacious Just like the garden. We had to share the pool which we didn't know but that turbed out okay. The cutlery and crockery weren 't very clean maybe because the dishwasher didn't work properly. The host / property manager on the other hand was great and helpen us a lot with everything. We had a wonderfull week!"

"The house was amazing, we had the entire top floor of the house, which had large bedrooms, common area and kitchen. The entire place was very nice and was quiet, which made it easy to relax and end a nice holiday. The pool area is share with other renters in the area, but was not an issue during our stay. I would definitely stay here again."

"The house is as described. It is one half of a house, that is rented as well, so there can be other people around. A downside is that the house is up a steep hill. The road is small and needs some courage, but is totally do-able. We mostly drove by car instead of walking up and down. An upside is the cute neighbours cat, which visites occasionally. The landlady is very kind and even asked during the stay if everything is alright. All in all a great stay 👍"

"A simple property but clean and comfortable. Good showers, comfortable beds. Cool pool! Also easy access to Pisa on the train and beautiful Tuscan countryside by car. Drive further south to Follonica for a good beach. Add good company, food and (local) wine and you have everything you could possibly need."

"Loved the villa. Did trips to Pisa and Lucca. Ate at Stefani across the street which was amazing!! Make reservations though. We didnt use all of the bedrooms, had so much space for us! Grilled steaks one night, we bought meat from the local butcher and they were awesome!"
