"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

The scenic views and peacefulness of the house are something that needs to be seen and experienced in person. We had the best time and were sad to leave. "We were looking for a way to unwind after experiencing the cities of Rome and Florence - this place was perfect. We were able to go into Bologna and enjoy all that the city has to offer and then relax poolside in the afternoon when it was hot. Pamela and Gabriel were wonderful - they had lots of great recommendations and were very accommodating. Great experience all around. One tip: This property is not near many restaurants, so plan accordingly. Our kids loved making pasta and flatbread...

"A very relaxing holiday for everyone. Great swimming pool was lots of fun. The two houses worked very well for our family of ten. Plenty of bathroom space. The weekly market was brilliant. A few nice restaurants for a lovely night out. All in all wonderful."
