The main floor apartment had a dining table and living space that could fit all of us when we wanted to gather. "We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. "We stayed here for 2 weeks with all of our children and 2 grand kids we had a blast property is just mesmerizing. We visited several cities which we were centrally located to. We made meals at the house that were just awesome and fun to do. Brick oven was a highlight. Valerio made us feel welcome and like family. Made many improvements over this last off season. "We absolutely loved our stay for a group of friends for a big birthday. the bedrooms were large and all perfect except the weird one with the twin beds. we added an amenity by adding a catered chef dinner one evening and it was 100% worth it - the meal and staff were amazing. great communication during check in and check out via whatsapp . wifi worked great. only issue was transportation - this home is not near the train station and there are not cars available in Certaldo . "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "
