"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. Every morning we awoke to the sound of bells from the local sheep herds. On Sunday morning we attended Mass at the local parish where we were part of a 50 year wedding celebration. "This place is up higher than I had expected. The walk to dowtown is easy but I found the walk back up tough for my age. I took my car for the other days! We were 3 traveling together. Beds are comfortable. The toiletries are packages, so might be best to bring your own products otherwise I found the value to be very good."

"It's a very basic accommodation, but very friendly staff at breakfast. Breakfast was quite good as well! The rooms are a bit run down and doesn't exactly give any "palazzo/palace" vibe... Location is right in the middle of old town, however the hotel does not have any parking nearby (at stated on this website) so you're left alone with finding parking on the streets like everyone else ;) There is a parking place (approx 25 EUR/24h) close to the beach, not too far from the hotel (10 min walk)."
