"We booked for our elopement ceremony. 6 of us, for 4 nights. It’s a beautiful property & overall had a pleasant stay. Some things I wish were communicated in advance. We spoke to the host before booking, ensuring we could have our 6person ceremony, photogs, & use a private chef. The chef he recommended cost more than we were originally told. But he was incredible. "This was the type of property we were looking for. This was a trip with my wife and me and our 4 adult children. We loved the location away from crowds but close enough to get to every where in Umbria for day trips. If you are traveling in the summer, just be aware there is no air conditioning. Probably not as big a deal if you aren't used to a/c as us spoiled Americans. But with temperatures near 100°F there isn't enough natural air flow through the house to cool it off.
