"The receptionist is the best ever! I feel the need to send her a little gift. She was so helpful and kind from start to finish and going above and beyond to help me during our stay. Helping me find rides, taxis in the rain, suggestions, book massage and spa, etc. I wish the room would have been a little cooler but that’s my only complaint. 100/10 recommend this hotel. "

"The Hotel Mayer was a great place to stay for our short break in Desenzano and we'd happily stay here again. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable with an unexpected partial view of the lake from the balcony. The noise insulation was brilliant given we were overlooking a very busy square. Reception staff were friendly although it was a bit more hit and miss at breakfast. There was plenty of choice of options to eat, however. The location is perfect - central and on the waterfront, but just a 10 minute walk (albeit uphill) to the station."

"The Hotel was really clean and the staff was helpful and professional. It was a bit of a distance from the old town but walkable. As it was a bit of a distance, it would have been nice to have a dining option in the hotel. However, with the assistance of a very helpful front desk staff, we were able to order a pizza for supper with no problems."
