La Fourmi cottage for 4 people

At an altitude of 950 m in an exceptional landscape in the heart of the Cévennes national park, 20 km from Florac, commune of CASSAGNAS (3 km from restaurant, bar, swimming), one or two typical Cévennes independent houses at the entrance of the hamlet . IN each house 2 BEDROOMS therefore 4 people per house. On average 80 euros per night and per house SO 160 euros per night for the 2 houses. You can rent the 2 houses if you are 6 or 8 people. Very close to Stevenson's path (author of Voyage with a donkey in the Cévennes). To come to MAGISTAVOLS do not go to CASSAGNAS !!! The MAGISTAVOLS is located just above the STEVENSON relay (about 3 km) HIGH SEASON RENTAL ONLY per week from Saturday to Saturday 620 euros PER HOUSE 640 euros in August per house
 arrival from 5 p.m. departure before 10 a.m.
The 2 houses with
private terraces and splendid views, EACH including a fireplace, living room / kitchen and two bedrooms with double bed, electric heating, bathroom and WC in each house. 1 washing machine common to the 2 houses

Possibility to rent one or two houses you can meet to eat inside one or the other or on their respective terraces

On site magnificent hikes, 3 km swimming in the river, fishing, and nearby all the tourist sites of Cévennes, Causses and Tarn gorges to spend an unforgettable stay. Very often in winter a sea of clouds and snow appear above the hamlet.
In autumn the time of chestnuts and mushrooms, porcini mushrooms etc ... in sublime and flamboyant landscapes. The deer slab in late September early October.
A Cévennes wine and chestnut honey offered for each weekly rental. See you soon !

Bon séjour au calme dans un cadre verdoyant. Une sécurisation de l'escalier intérieur et de l'espace jardin extérieur serait à prévoir pour des enfants en bas âge

Joli coin de paradis

Très belle rénovation avec terrasse à chaque niveau, environnement exceptionnel & ballades à faire absolument autour. Mat & Eric sont adorables, accueil chaleureux. Seul bémol, nous avons eu du soleil mais la maison ayant de toutes petites ouvertures, ça doit être un peu démoralisant par mauvais temps.

Un hameau cévennol à découvrir

Ce petit hameau à l'écart de tout est un havre de paix enchanteur. Le cadre est magique et la maison, bien que petite, est fonctionnelle. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps dehors, partagé entre les deux espaces repas, selon le moment de la journée.

Parenthèse estivale des plus appréciées

Le gite de "la fourmi " est un petit havre de tranquillité a l entree d un petit hameau aux memes caractéristiques. Ideal pour la déconnection et le repos. Le jardin offre diverses ambiances et cadres selon l envie du moment. La proximité du gite "la cigale" n est pas un probleme puisque les espaces extérieurs sont aménagés pour favoriser l intimité de chacun. Seul bémol : l éclairage public nous empêchant de profiter pleinement d'un magnifique ciel étoilé. Sejour trop court mais reellement depaysant !!! Une parenthèse des plus appréciées au coeur d un chaud mois de juillet.

Authenticité, sérénité, beauté de la nature.

Nous avons découvert un gîte de caractère plein d'authenticité qui correspondait à notre attente. Situé dans un village cevenole aux perspectives architecturales magnifiques, face à une vallée abritant des essences locales à perte de vue. Le village est isolé mais nous nous y sommes trouvés bien à l'instant où nous sommes assis sur la terrasse .à écouter les cigales les oiseaux ....et quelques insectes forts sympathiques. Il ne manque rien dans le gîtes . Pas de tv .pas de Wi-Fi mais le réseau gsm H+ passe pour Orange. Nous avons pu ainsi arroser notre famille de photos magnifiques et consulter les résultats sportifs. Il est possible de faire de très jolies randonnées à partir du village. PR et GR à proximité. Pour le ravitaillement c'est FLORAC. Pour résumer : les gîtes la fourmi comme la cigale sont tops et restaurés par Éric avec beaucoup de goût et de passion situés dans un cadre magnifique qu'on ne peut oublier.

Magnifique weekend

Avec mon mari nous y avons séjourné le temps d'un long weekend. Logement simple mais très accueillant et depuis le jardin nous permet de bénéficier d'une vue exceptionnelle. Nous avons passé un très bon weekend dans un cadre magnifique.

Un hâvre de paix

Notre séjour de 3 nuits nous a revigorées ! Partout le calme, la nature, la solitude et la paix ! Ça nous change du béton, des bruits de la ville et de la foule. Un dépaysement total exactement comme nous le souhaitions ! En octobre les couleurs sont flamboyantes, merveilles de la nature, ramassage de châtaignes et de noix, balades au bord des ruisseaux, le chant des oiseaux, les cascades magnifiques .......bref, on en prend plein les yeux, les oreilles, les mains, avant de se poser devant un bon feu de cheminée bien mérité et avec un bon bouquin. Toute cette beauté, cette sérénité, on reviendra, c’est certain ! Magistavol, tiens toi prêt à nous revoir ! I.H.

C'est le mot qui vient à l'esprit lorsqu'on séjourne à La Fourmi. Ce gite a été conçu et emménagé par ses propriétaires afin que l'on s'y sente bien, que l'on se ressource et se repose. Livres, CD, beaux objets, bel emmenagement. On s'y sent comme à la maison sans compter les paysages splendides qui l'entoure; A conseiller vivement.
