"It was amazing. Staff was very accommodating. Very clean and followed all covid restrictions. We ate at the Restaurant twice for dinner. The pasta and ice cream were freshly made! Best we have ever had. Definitely recommend. Very kid friendly."

"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "

"Wonderful countryside estate in a great location. Charming house on an olive farm. It is in a quiet, private area and is very relaxing. Beautiful views and lots of room for kids to run around and explore. The location was also excellent for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Vinci, even the coast. The property was spacious and clean. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
