We would be remiss if we did not mention Giulia who is fluent in English and a wealth of knowledge. Olive trees abound, and from the moment you arrive to the day of your departure you will be enchanted with this stunning Tuscan villa. This is clearly a place which has been meticulously cared for. It is perfect as a home base to explore the cities of Tuscany. We especially loved our morning coffee overlooking the achingly beautiful view from this mountainside villa. On our last evening we had the pleasure of learning how to make two different pastas from Chef Daniela and Virginia. Both enjoyable and delightful. From the careful attention to detail in the landscaping to the tasteful interior design and decor to the impeccable cleanliness, this place is perfect for a Tuscan getaway. The photos on the website are definitely accurate although for us it is much more beautiful in person. "

"Overall is a nice stay with few points that are lacking that affects the comfort of staying there. 1. Heating is turned off around 11pm thus you will feel cold if you are not asleep by then. 2. Hotwater not consistent, the water might turn cold for a moment when you are showering. 3. Parking is in public carpark outside the compound thus you will need to walk in the cold to the house although there are ample space to park in the compound. They do allow you to drive yr car into the compound for loading and unloading though. 4. There are no communal laundry facilities which is not ideal for long stay. 5. No dishwasher, no kettle and only 1 pot ,1 milk pan and 1 frying pan."

"The overall experience was very pleasant, a lovely place to stay and surrounding area was nice with places to eat and a little supermarket 1 minute away. The only thing initially was when checking in there was only a woman that spoke Italian so was a bit confusing for me but she still gave me the key for the room etc...a little afterwards another woman was there that could speak English and the payment was sorted out. This wasn't a big deal to me but could be for others. Would definitely stay here again. "
