"Evergreen Hotel, Formerly Hunt Lodge has been freshly updated to look brand new, and is still our favorite place to stay in McCall. I do miss the African animal mounts that overlooked the enclosed pool and spa room. The water-saver sinks and shower were environmentally efficient, but a little too low flowrate for us."

"Our stay at the Tamarack Resort was above and beyond anything we expected. I booked it through Hotels.com and we were blown away by the unit we stayed in - San Miguel 301, if anyone wants to know. Absolutely fabulous!! We were there during off-season so a lot of the shops and restaurants were not open, but we did have dinner at The Reserve and it was wonderful. "Down to earth people "

"We didn't know exactly what to expect. We checked in about 45 minutes earlier than normal. Once in the cabin, we were surprised to find TV, a kitchenette, and Wi-Fi! The cabin was out of coffee (supplied by the lodge, along with creamer and sugar). The night went smoothly and we woke refreshed after a couple cups of coffee. Overall, it was a great change from pitching a tent. I will be recommending! "

"Honestly I would have given them a bad review because I discovered crunched up chips under the fitted sheet, the fridge leaked water all over the food I put in there, and I had trouble with the key card not working at one point. However, they were friendly and took care of the problems very quickly. There was plenty of breakfast and drink options in the morning and the beds were comfortable.
