"Zehn unvergessliche Tage haben wir im April 2025 in einem Ferienhaus von Jantien und Walter verbracht. Das geräumige, gut ausgestattete Haus stand uns vollständig zur Verfügung. Wir hatten kein Glück mit dem Wetter: Es war kühl und es hat immer wieder geregnet. Jantien hat uns gezeigt, wie man den Holzofen bedient, und Walter hat uns Brennholz zur Verfügung gestellt. "We've just returned from a lovely stay in this fantastic area of Spain. The barn is a very relaxing place to stay with plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy at different times of the day and night. We actually never used the living area, as we spent ALL our time enjoying alfresco living, including watching shooting stars. "Not just a hotel, but an oasis! After an overnight flight and then a 3+ hour drive from Madrid airport, Hotel Hospes de Palacio Arenales & Spa was just what we needed. We luxuriated by the pool and were fortified with snacks and drinks at the pool bar. We also booked an hour in the spa, which was refreshing. The staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. The only negative was that there was a Saturday night wedding, and we could hear some of the guests noisily tromping through the hallways at 2am. "
