Grand Hotel di Parma | UNA Esperienze

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning old building (formerly a hospital). We had a lovely room with a little roof terrace - the jasmine that was planted all around the space was blossoming when we stayed and it smelt divine when we sat outside. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room - a great way to start the day. Room was kept beautifully clean every day. The gardens are lovely and nice to sit in for breakfast. Other reviews suggest the area is not the best but we thought it was wonderful, just a two minute walk from a square where there were food stalls and live music some evenings - so lively and diverse. It felt safe and friendly walking into the main city (15-20 minute easy walk). Parma is a fantastic city, the food and wine are incredible! We found eating out to be very reasonably priced compared to other parts of Italy we have been to. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this, but breakfast offered a very wide selection of food and drinks. Overall highly recommended - would definitely stay here again!"

"good location, very close to train station, good size room, good shower, firm bed, over 100 TV channels in Italian, none in English or French, stable wifi, ok breakfast, no good foods, attentive service at the breakfast room. Overall good"
