"Mariella, thank you for being such a wonderful host! We called Mariella a few hours before arrival to let her know when we would arrive. Once we got to our location (very peaceful and beautiful countryside property), we drove through the automated gate, and Mariella met us at our car. Check in was very quick, we were shown our room which is found in a beautiful house, where everything is new and very clean! We were given our room keys and keys to the gate. "Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value."
