"Before continuing, I need to point out the property we stayed at was a lovely villa, part of a community os identical units. It was lovely but it is NOT the photo above. It was very confusing driving there: while getting higher up the mountain, it was decidedly not going to be the photo of property booked. This should be corrected. Really. Otherwise, the place was lovely and well located a 10 ish walk down to beach. We never did find the pool."

"Very enjoyable place to stay. There were untypical temperatures and we would have loved some air conditioning. The pool was cleaned every few days and would be perfect for adults but isn’t child friendly. We had a 3 year old who is learning to swim but was too afraid to go into the pool as is the same depth with no graduation (about 1.5 meters) all over. The nearby shop is close and well stocked. Overall I would highly recommend this villa for adults and children over 5."

"Located in a quiet area of Carvoeiro the property and grounds, pool etc are kept in good condition. Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine etc and AC. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A hire car is useful but Carvoeiro is walkable, but the the return walk is uphill and very steep in places. Cars can be hired through the hotel and the rate we got was better than going direct to the bigger companies. We would definitely return here if we go back to this area....

"We liked area around- pools area, playground for kids, however in April water seems to be still very cold for swiming, so maybe to think on heated pool (at least for kids) installation. Minuses-if you want to use kitchen or washing machine you need to buy all detergents or oil for cooking, salt, pepper yourself, which is not very convinient and reasonable in case of foreign travellers staying for just couple of nights."

Beautiful villa in a perfect location
"We were a family of 8 adults with a baby. The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for us all and the best equipped villa that we've ever stayed in. We opted for pool heating which was great and meant that the baby was happy to splash around. The villa is a short walk.to the beautiful town of Carvoeiro with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is lovely. Supermarkets are a very short drive away. Communication with the owner was excellent - he was swift to respond to all queries and was very helpful. Highly recommended."
