"Really enjoyed our stay in this traditional little guest house right in the centre of the lovely border town of Vila Real de S. Antonio. Only 5 minutes on foot to the Spanish ferry, 20 mins from the train station and in a quiet street just off the bustling main square. The building is in the old town so not luxurious but it’s been beautifully maintained and has a restful ambiance - felt at home right away. "Nice place, basis breakfast, but enough to start your day off. Yoghurt, bread, jam and marmalade , cheese and ham. Tea Coffee and Orange juice. Swimming pool in the garden. Easy and free parking outside on the quiet road. Only close to one cafe bar restaurant. Suitable for drinks and snacks. Had to drive to find other places, but only 2 to 3 km."

"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. "The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired. But it was a wonderful holiday...
