Todo el servicio recibido fue impecable. Desde el check in, la atención del personal, la limpieza de la habitación, la tranquilidad en las instalaciones, la comida del restaurante, las zonas verdes. No tengo queja alguna y recomendaría a cualquiera visitar el hotel y el restaurante. Espero poder volver pronto.

The lake's view from the restaurant at breakfast time is unique in the area. Also you can easily watch and hear birds on the property. A very nice get away option near San Jose to stay and enjoy the valley.

The property, hotel and restaurant was amazing. The staff was pertcfect. The Turkish watch was not working and there was not a pool but other than that, amazing. The food was extremely good and would rival any 5 start restaurant.

This boutique hotel is located just south of Cartago, and is the PERFECT spot if you are wanting to visit the Volcanos (Irazu and Turrialba) and/or Tapanti National Park (all highly recommended). The property is actually a working coffee plantation that sits right on beautiful Lake Cachi. The owner Michael was WONDERFUL! He was fully bilingual, truly cared about his property, and our experience of it, and was BEYOND accommodating. Our room was HUGE, very clean, had comfortable bedding, very modern bathroom, and a beautiful back patio area. WiFi worked great. Included breakfast at the property's restaurant was delicious, cooked to order, plentiful, and was provided to-go on two of the days for when we needed to get up and out. Dinner, and of course, their own coffee was also delicious - have the trout fillet - local and awesome. The restaurant has a huge outdoor eating area that over looks the lake and has STUNNING views. Take time to walk around the property as the views are gorgeous. If you want to get out of the bustle of the cities and go to a really beautiful, serene place, La Casona is the ticket. We stayed four nights, and we loved every minute. Again, thank you to Michael, a true gentlemen and fabulous host and owner.

The Hotel is nice , but the drive way from the road to the hotel is so rough with the big rocks not a graves is kind of not inviting. The garden all dry ( because no rain) that understandable. poor instructions to the rooms and no sign The service is good and room is nice little dark

Muy lindas las habitaciones solo recomendaría poner cedazo en las ventanas porque es muy caliente adentro y no se pueden abrir por los bichos. Además deberían de tener a alguien que responda mensajes o llamadas en caso de que los hospedados necesiten algo. Pero por lo demás muy bien

When we went through Customs and the officer asked where we were staying, he furrowed his brow when I told him Cachi. It’s not a tourist destination, nor is there any apparent reason why it should be. We chose Cachi because it looked like it would be an easy drive from San Jose, and a scenic location on the lake. It was not an easy drive. And the water level of the lake was low, so it wasn’t particularly pretty.

Sitio muy apropiado para descansar y bien ubicado, sin embargo, no había un Inter comunicador para hablar con la recepción. Después de las 7:00pm no había servicio de restaurante, ni fue posible pedir a un restaurante cercano. No había cerca ninguno disponible. El TV tenía fallas y no hubo como pedir ayuda a la recepción.
