My recent stay at the Hotel Casa Don Luis By Faranda Boutique in Cartagena was truly wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally clean, which made for a very comfortable and pleasant environment. The staff were incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great experience. And the food was absolutely delicious – a real highlight of my visit! The resort is beautiful. The beach and water are beautiful too. Great service, beautiful view from my room. Highly recommended. Cons? It’s Cartagena, it means happiness, music, warmth people, smiles. I know it’s a French hotel, but hello, the hotel is in Colombia. Tourists want to feel their culture. Employees are too serious and saying madame all the time sounds ridiculous. Not their fault, obviously it’s what they need to do. Music (of course only from the hotel) at the beach would give a nice Caribbean touch. Also, the cocktails (not cheap at all) had little alcohol) The rest, the hotel is amazing. I will come back.

small botique hotel on a QUIET street. Two blocks down, streets get noisy so this was in a great location in old town. Small hotel so they get to know you and service is quite personal. Guard on the front door at all times it is open - so it felt safe.

Hotel was beautiful and staff was very professional. The style of hotel is very nice and location is great inside the walled city. The only thing I didn’t like is that my room had no door for the bathroom. If that is important to you, like most people, you should confirm that your room has a door for the bathroom.
