"Beautiful location with wonderful view of the river. Grounds are gorgeous with flowers, wedding venue, and pine trees. My only gripe was the WiFi as it was beyond slow. Even the desktop in the office is not exactly warp speed. Beautiful viewpoints, comfortable bed, full kitchen, easy parking. If you are upstairs in back lot, you do need to carry luggage upstairs. However, I would definitely stay here again."

"Skamania Lodge is a gem — and especially appealing for those of us less than an hour away in Portland. Dining is exceptional and fairly priced, the pool and hot tubs are accessible and the view of the Columbia Gorge is spectacular."

"This is a good place to stay. What keeps it from being great is it could use some updating- beds were just okay, soaking rooms could use a deep clean and dusting. Lack of food at the resort is other reason. Pros are the large hot tub with cold plunge (a cracked window would be great because it’s pretty humid in room). The area is so beautiful too- lots of outdoor hiking available nearby."

"The house was perfect for my family to gather the night before my daughter’s wedding & we loved the quiet location! The house is roomy & has all the basic necessities needed for a quick stay & the sunrise view was a great bonus! "
