"It was perfect. Since my hubby and I both have busy schedules, we were looking for something quiet and more like home. The Happy Place certainly met that wish and then some. Sherry was great to work with and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back."

"Loved the location, the peacefulness and privacy. Had everything we needed, even had the extremely friendly dogs and cat visiting. Wild turkeys in the back, deer along the little road to the home. If we go back to the Ark we will definately stay here again."

"This home is WAY off the beaten path. So beautiful!!! This historic home is clean, fully functional and well equipped for family time and meals. We loved kayaking, fishing, games, and hiking the vast property. Kitchen was fairly well stocked; better than most vrbo’s. The only down side was no cell service or wifi. Had an unexpected situation at home that required many hours away from the family spent at the local library for cell signal and internet access. We still didn’t want to leave. This...
