"The hotel is basic, but clean and convenient for a night’s stay. The view of the river from our room was great and the on property car park made life easier. Our bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing (and was two twins pushed together instead of an actual king). But it was perfectly fine for one night as we passed through town. The young man at the front desk was warm and friendly. "

"Stayed for 1 night at the Farmers Kitchen Hotel, pleasant stay with friendly helpful staff. Had requested an early check in as we were going to another event and this was arranged for us with both rooms being available. Rooms are good size, cleaned to a high standard, comfortable beds, tea making facilities. Breakfast served until 11.15 whihc was ideal for us. Have stayed here previously and would recommend it - good value, clean comfortable hotel, friendly staff"
