Chic 2 Bedroom Condo Across from the Sea & White Sand Beach

We are just across the street from the beach, on the corner of Sandyland Road and Elm St. in the La Cabana complex.

We love our condo and take meticulous care of it. We furnish it as we would our own home, as we like to stay here at times ourselves.

Our rates include the 15% town tax that Carpinteria requires, important to know in comparing rates. We aim for a reasonable rate.

Our unit is a completely and beautifully renovated 2 bdrm condo in quiet complex- Pergo floors, granite counter tops, painted sky blue, tile bathroom floor. It is full of light, and is peaceful and comfortable.

You can walk across the street to Carpinteria Beach, one of the loveliest, cleanest beaches at the South Central Coast.

We have a year round heated swimming pool at complex, beautiful landscaping, gas grill, and the complex is meticulously maintained.

The wildlife refuge is a short walk and has excellent birding. The seal rookery is down the beach. Dolphins and whales swim offshore. Carpinteria is a lovely beachside town with good restaurants, shops, parks, artists' shops, antique stores, and palm tree lined streets.

Santa Barbara is 15 minutes up Rt. 101, with many family activities and attractions: shops; zoo; botanical gardens; bike paths; watersports, art museum, natural history museum . Summerland is a great nearby town for antiquing and many wineries are nearby. Our Carpinteria rental license is 1046-VR-21.

Great location

The place was perfect for your family. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed. It’s a very cute place. The pool was nice to have right outside our door. Having to only walk a block to the beach was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again.

Another great visit

We love staying here (our second time) and La Cabana is such a nice complex. So close to the beach, easy walk into town, just perfect all around. And the weather treated us well. This is a roomy 2 bedroom and plenty of space for a family of 5. Very light and airy, very well equipped. We hope to return. Thank you!

We found the place to be clean, comfortable, well stocked and it had everything we needed for a great family vacation. It was convenient to be right across from the beach and so close to restaurants on Linden. The property manager was very responsive when I asked a question and check in was easy.

Hidden Gem in Carpenteria

We booked the condo so we could visit our friends camping at the state beach. It was perfect. Great location, easy access, clear directions and the place has everything we needed. We will definitely do it again!

Lovely spot

This is a great place for a family stay. It's a very spacious unit, very clean, light and airy. Very quiet complex, only a few steps away from the beach, and walking distance to many of the town shops and restaurants. With an off-street parking spot you might never need to move the car.Owner was very helpful and responsive. Would love to stay again!

We absolutely loved this property! We’re hoping we’ll have another tournament here next year so we can stay here again. Very cute place. Super close to the beach. Walking distance to food and shops. Perfect spot in a wonderful place

This apartment was very well taken care of and stocked with everything you could ever need to enjoy your time at the beach. Being right across the street from the beach and having a heated pool made it even more perfect. Top marks on everything! The only complaint is that both beds were very firm, so bring a pillow topper if you like a softer mattress. Would come back again for sure!

Great Place

We stayed here close to a week. We have 2 daughters ages 5 & 7. This place is conveniently located just across from the beach and has everything you need. Pool is literally steps from the unit. Nice clean place and responsive owners. Carpinteria is a nice location if you want a quiet getaway with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Fabulous

What a fabulous condo and vacation getaway. Every detail covered. Comfortable, clean, bright, modern and quiet. Steps from beach, walked to everything downtown, all within a few short blocks.Farmers market on Thursday, wonderful fresh produce, fruit and local wares. Property manager Amy very quick on responses/communication and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this property and location. We'll be back again.

Excellent Property for our kind of vacation!

We are a family of four that has visited Carp almost every year for the past 15. We have family in Santa Barbara. This was our first time at this property and it was great! Great beach access, kitchen with all the necessary "tools", a clean and comfortable place to relax, and great pool and bbq area to spread out. We wouldn't change a thing! Just a few exits on the hwy and you are in Santa Barbara. Our favorite Carp traditions - The Spot, the farmers market, beach sunsets, and breakfast at the Cajun Kitchen! Already looking forward to our next visit.

Great time at the beach!

We spent the month of January, location was convenient, an easy stroll to the beach and town. It's also conveniently located to the sights of Santa Barbara. The complex was quiet and well maintained, the unit was cozy and comfortable, probably best suited to a couple or a small family. Amy, the property manager, was great about emailing answers to our questions before arrival, and was very responsive while we were on site. Carp is a quaint little town. We had great dinner at Gianfranco's Trattoria, and went to Jack's Bistro twice and Oaxaca Fresh 3 times with visitors! Of course, we couldn't miss the local burger hangout, The Spot! All in all, a great stay, and we would consider renting there again!

Cabaña Carpinteria

I’ve stayed in all of the condo complexes now on Sandyland over the years and this unit and spot is now top of my list. The rental has everything you need and feels like a true home away from home. Love when the pantry has the essentials like oils, salt pepper spices etc. The unit feels well loved and taken care of. Walk everywhere. Pool was heated to perfection. And the beds were ultra comfortable. The host was super responsive and I know we’ll be back. My only tip would be to bring your own beach chairs and boogie boards. While the owner did provide them in the unit, the boards werent usable and the chairs were really well worn.

Short walk to beach.

Condo was very comfortable for our family of four. Proximity to beach, shops and restaurants was great. Everything within walking distance. Our family especially enjoyed the delicious food at Tony's restaurant just down the street. We also rented wet suits from a surf shop near by for the kids to use at the beach. We were even able to see dolphins swimming. The pool was a nice addition when the kids wanted to go for a quick swim. The other residents of the condo complex were very friendly as were people we met going for walks in the area. Condo manager Amy was wonderful to work with. Our family would stay here again and we would recommend this condo to family and friends.

Great place in great location

We have stayed in Carpinteria many times and love it. This was one of the nicest condos that we have rented and we will definitely rent it again. It is well equipped and nicely furnished, easy walking distance to the shops and beach. Amy was very nice and receptive to our requests, she allowed us to check in early and check out late since it was a quiet time of year. The only draw back was we have 2 older children and twin beds would have worked better in the second bedroom, there is a comfortable bed settee in the living room but of course you have to make it up every day. Otherwise it was perfect! Carpinteria is a lovely beach town which maintains its charm, this condo is a great place to stay whilst you are there.

Perfect spot

This cute little apartment was perfect for our stay with family. Location was amazing allowing for daily walks on the beach or salt marsh preserve. Beds were super comfortable. Peaceful neighborhood and complex. Would stay here again!
