"There was one staff member that was kind of rude all the gentlemen I guess he was the maintenance guy or something. The pool was closed at 98° and I guess you have to go to the front desk and let them open the gate for you. they should let you know out front when you checking in about those little things breakfast was excellent as always bar was OK and very clean rooms."

"Great vibes and great views. Peaceful, art-filled space for a lovely weekend alone. Comfortable bed. I spent a lot of time on the screened in patio watching the lake. Quiet street, perfect for walking or biking."

"The stay was bliss! Harold and his wife have a beautiful farm that with a lake, sweet farm animals and a rustic cabin that has its own shaded cove.We are returning later this year as we didn’t get enough!"

"This is a cute, clean and comfortable cabin nestled in the woods and a very short walk from the edge of Oxbow Lake. The fishing is terrific and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of loons on the water. Susan is very communicative and extremely helpful. The cabin’s kitchen is well stocked with many utensils and good cookware. There really isn’t much you need to bring. There are plenty of linens, soaps, and storage bags.This is a great value and it makes for a very relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"We had a wonderful family vacation with our 2 children. They were very accommodating. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The owner checked in with us every other day, they live nearby. There’s a public beach spot right next to the house but you do have your own private lake access. It was beautiful and lots of memories made. Will be looking to book again."

"Was the best place I've stayed at in Caroga Lake so far. For larger families, it's great with 3 bedrooms, and large bunks in 2 of them. It was awesome having a full and half bath! That's rare in that area. The downstairs was spacious, just a short walk to the dock, plenty of dishware, the fire pit was nice, the porch and hammock were great, it was quiet, and it's located by the local stores and gas station. No issues with water or septic at all, and home was very clean, and being able to wash and dry clothes was a huge plus! Just make sure you bring bath towels and wash cloths. I didn't think about it and had to go to Walmart and buy some for showering."
