"I’m not sure why there are bad reviews for this property. Especially since the price is budget friendly. The neighborhood is quiet with views of the mountains/hills. You have to have a key fob to get onto the property as the grounds are gated. The hostel is clean, and the staff is friendly. This was my fourth time in Marseille, and my first time in the 12th Arrondissement. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for hosting Bum Bum Jones and I! "

"The good thing with the place is the location. It's close to the train station and not very far to walk anywhere. The "hostel" is however in a very bad shape in a pretty creepy house on like the third floor It's basically someones apartment with some bunk-beds. Nothing is fresh, internet isn't free (3 euro), kitchen is very low standard, no atmosphere and no proper place to hang out, although the is a balcony. Far too expensive for what was offered"

"Endroit calme, retiré de la rue, Belle grande piscine. Possibilité de se rendre à pied au village où l’on trouve plusieurs magasins et une grande surface ( attention pour le retour, ça monte fort). Très bon resto à 200m « La Crémaillère »Endroit très bien situé pour les balades à pied, visite des calanques. La mer n’est qu’à 5 km. "ResidHotel Prado is a good budget option. I’ve stayed here several times. The beds are a little tired but I like the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes, bathrooms are renovated nicely with great water pressure for the showers. I enjoy it’s location, it’s secure, the neighborhood is safe with several public transit options to get around the city and bus connection to all of the beaches, and it’s a quieter option than staying in the center which is easy to get to on foot, tram or metro."
