"So much to do in Brandywine Valley and this home was a perfect home base. The location was close to everything - historic sites, antique shops, wineries, great restaurants and Longwood Gardens. It’s advertised as “cozy” and we found it charming and comfortable. Loved the excellent communication, ease of entry and departure, and warm welcome from our hostess. "It was me, my son and my sister staying. The grounds were beautiful, and we fed the goats too! It was late season, so no pool or any relaxing outdoors. Brrr. Traffic is light in the area so it was easy to get in a 2+ mile walk and see the local neighborhoods. There were Ants all over the house, in the kitchen, bathrooms, living room. We even found an ant in our shoe. Also the sheets weren’t that clean. There was hair in between the sheets.
