While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Truckee Vacation Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

Enjoy the comfort of this lovely North Lake Tahoe vacation rental home, Belle's Bungalow is nestled in Carnelian Bay on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. This North Shore property is 3 bedroom home with an additional bedroom not attached to the house and sleeps up to 10 people comfortably and has all-new carpet. There is also a bunk room that is not attached to the main house, it is a cute bunkhouse the kids will love. Belle's deck is the perfect place to relax, it has a lovely lake view and in summer the garden is beautiful and there is a grassy area. The home also boasts a hot tub with a lake view to soak in after a long day doing all of the activities that you come to Tahoe to enjoy. Belle's home is dog-friendly, and your dog will really enjoy the dog-friendly beach which is not far from the house - next to Garwoods.

The living area has something for everyone. The front area has a television (please note there is no cable at this property) and big comfy couches. Then there is a big dining room table perfect for those big spaghetti dinners. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need for cooking those great meals. The other end of the living area has a big stone open fireplace with wood provided in winter for big cozy fires and a comfy couch.

Belle's Bungalow is located close to the Post Office Cafe for great breakfast and Garwoods Restaurant, a local favorite for fine dining with one of the best views on the lake, winter and summer alike. Entertain the kids in the summer at the nearby mini-golf park or rent kayaks for an early morning paddle. In the winter, Belle's Bungalow is centrally located with driving times to Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, and Alpine Meadows all around 20-25 minutes. Enjoy the multitude of Lake Tahoe ski areas with Belle's as your home base. Belle's Bungalow is the perfect getaway for all seasons, and it offers the comfort that you should expect from a vacation rental home.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
•Parking is all EXTERIOR parking. NO garage access available for guests due to owners storage.
• Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
• This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $100 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.

• Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax.
• Check-out time is 10 AM.

IMPORTANT: On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm-8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.
