"We went to Sacramento for a family members graduation from CSUS. Although the campus is near by to the hotel, the graduation is in downtown Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center (where the Kings play). The location of Larkspur made it easy to rideshare to and from the hotel and various venues. There was ample parking, and it seemed farily secure (didn't see broken windows in the parking lot, or broken glass on the ground). The room we had was fairly basic, but it had a great kitchenet. If the stay was longer, it would have been a great place to rest for a few days. Things I would change: Sound from the door way, we were on the 1st floor, by the elevators, and across from the laundry/ice room. We would not get a 1st floor room next time, and definitely not one so close to the door, the elevator, and the ice room. The breakfast they offered was not appealing, but will do in a pinch, on the go, or on a budget. It was pick a microwave entree, some coffee, some granola, cereal, and a few other options. Things we enjoyed: *Location! *Kitchenet *Ample parking, not secured per se, but no issues *Dog friendly *Responsive climate control in the room *Friendly staff *Amenities near by *Affordable *Comfortable bed *Hot water for showering *Other amenities I hope people found this review helpful. "Every room is genuinely a suite as describes. I gave a three star for property condition, because of the murkiness of the indoor pool water and smell of chlorine. Also, there was yellow tape around the jacuzzi preventing use. "

"This place is amazing! I stayed the night before my morning flight but it could have been my whole vacation! Fireplace, kitchen, downstairs bar with friends, outdoors picnic table, everything you need. My one complaint is that it's ridiculously impossible to find the place!!! Google maps does not know how to get there. It said we'd arrived in the middle of the street. We made u-turn after u-turn and then drove around the parking lot 15 times following sign after sign that led nowhere. It was so frustrating and surreal, like we were trying to find narnia or diagonalley! And then, honestly, the experience once we arrived lived up to that expectation! Five stars fersure. :) "

"We stayed here because it was near my daughter’s in-laws where she and her fiancée were getting married. The hotel was clean and comfortable and even though it was busy with CSUS graduation that weekend it was quiet. The only not so great thing is that I don’t think they properly staffed the restaurant for how busy they were. At breakfast the next morning they were only doing bar seating if you didn’t have a reservation. There were a lot of empty tables so I assume they didn’t have the staff for table service. We still got served but the poor bar tender was stretched thin!"
