"I stayed for two days with my family and friends, and everything was absolutely perfect. I had stayed here before, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel has been completely renovated under new management. Everything is spotless, modern, and well-maintained. The breakfast was one of the highlights — freshly prepared and delicious, with excellent service throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times. The location is unbeatable — just a 1-minute walk to the beach. We truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this place! "

"2 adults. 5 teenage boys, 1 college aged daughter. Surf and adventure trip. This house was very well managed and taken care of. Any issue was immediately resolved. Sophie was very attentive, and easily accessible. Each day the house was cleaned while we were out surfing, magically restored to normal (5 teenage boys!). Banana Beach next door is nice to have. Private gated drive w security guard in community gave peace of mind, though there was never a concern over safety. Perfectly situated in town next to amenities including ATV rental, and car rental (Avis). The boys called it the best trip of their life. Already planning their next return. "Absolutely loved our stay at Nantipa. Their staff is all amazing and so attentive. They truly care about their customers & every interaction we had with them was pleasant. They day we arrived it was my husbands birthday, they had a mini birthday cake waiting for us in our room. The day we were leaving they left us a little gift in our room & even offered to pack a breakfast box to go since we had to leave really early In the morning. It's details like this that make customers happy and want to return. Thank you all for making our stay here wonderful. Would recommend this place to anyone. 10000/10"

"Amazing views and the terrace with the jacuzzi is absolutely worth it. Daily cleaning with fresh towels, coffee/tea refills, and everything left spotless. The bed was super big and very comfortable. They even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, both via WhatsApp and in person. The road is steep but manageable with an SUV (no 4x4 needed), and walking takes just 7–10 minutes. We loved that it’s away from the busy center—much more peaceful and the views are way better. Only downside: the kitchen is minimally equipped (just two glasses, two plates, one pan), and lacks basics like salt or oil. Also, most of the fridge space is taken by minibar items (for purchase). Still, we highly recommend it!"

"My group of six friends had a really great time at Villa Makai, Santa Teresa location! Our plan for this vacation was to be active, eat healthy, have a lot of fun and have time for a relaxation as well. Seven nights was not a very long time for everything but still we were very happy and satisfied at the end of our stay. The villa was perfect for us, beautiful, very clean, very well equipped. Also, we could see and feel the nature so well through the glass and screen panels downstairs. We really enjoyed the pool and a beautiful dining area outdoors.We did practice yoga every morning as a group and there is a very nice platform for a meditation practice as well. Overall we had a great time, not only because of the place but also because of very nice people: the owner Martin, the wonderful concierge Josefina and other staff members. Everyone was super helpful and doing everything so our stay was as pleasant as possible. We had a great communication with the owner Martin and the concierge Josefina before our trip and during our stay at Costa Rica. Josefina was really wonderful! She did help us with grocery shopping, to book our trips, activities, restaurants reservations. She also found an excellent chef for our special “dine and celebrate life at Villa Makai” experience. By the way, we strongly recommend Chef Luis for a special occasions. The food was really delicious and chef Luis is very experienced and he is super nice and friendly person. We just loved the whole experience!"

"What a beautiful property! Incredible ocean-views, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, wildlife (monkeys, iguana, birds), and the jungle and ocean sounds. Check-in was seamless and Mikey even booked a massage at the house for us (which was amazing!). Wilfredo made us feel very safe, and kept the pool spotless and we enjoyed visits from his lovely dog Kira. Would be back in a second."
