"This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived. "This is great location and not at all far from Carmel-by-the-sea. The shops, wine tasting, and restaurants were enjoyable. The view from the VRBO is impressive!!! The winding valley drives up the mountain was scenic. Affordable valley golf courses and wineries are also close by. The house was clean and the hot tub was great overlooking the valley. Morning coffee and evening wine on the deck was enjoyable during our stay in March. The location is so quiet and isolated other than the morning farm animals and other wildlife during the day and evening. It was great! We highly recommend this location!Minor things to note: Coffee is furnished for a Keurig. (We utilized the Keurig but purchased other coffee).We arrived late, and the drive up to the house was a little unnerving in the dark for the first time. The road is narrow, there aren’t any lights other than the car headlights, and the incline was steep and winding. So, use caution."
