Welcome to the Lodge at Seven Coves Lodge oceanfront villa.
As highlighted in Architectural Digest, this famous oceanfront house and its associated cottages, known as the Lodge at Seven Coves, have been featured in the acclaimed movie Basic Instinct and, more recently, the hit HBO Series Big Little Lies, starring Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and others…
This 2.2-acre oceanfront Lodge, or villa, is the perfect spot for any large group - whether on a golf outing to the world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Links, a wine tasting excursion to Carmel Valley, or seeking the many outdoor adventures and splendor of the Big Sur Coast. It is perfect for large corporate groups or VIP visitors seeking exceptional accommodations during the AT&T Pro Am Celebrity Golf Tournament in early February, the Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival and the Big Sur Marathon in April, or various and sundry other notable events throughout the year.
VALUE PROPOSITION
The home spans approximately 12,000 square feet and boasts some of the most dramatic oceanfront panoramas on the entire California Coast… from the Pebble Beach shores and Point Lobos State Park to the North, all the way down to Yankee Point and Big Sur to the South. This completely renovated and expanded property sleeps 18 comfortably, and its spacious footprint and bedrooms (averaging over 600 square feet), afford unparalleled privacy with literally no common walls between the home’s sleeping quarters. Altogether there are 6 king beds, 2 queen beds, a queen-size sleeper sofa, 2 full beds and 1 twin bed, and we keep additional beds on hand to accommodate just about any group’s particular configuration or needs. The eight bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms and there are an additional two half baths that serve dining and common areas. Notably, six of the eight bedrooms have stunning ocean views.
MASTER BEDROOM - The Lodge has a spectacular dual master bedroom suite with oversized his & hers walk-in closets and full ocean views of a dramatic cliffside cove. Together, these 2 adjoining bedrooms weigh in at over 1,800 square feet of living space. The bathroom features a standalone shower and a therapeutic jetted tub with full ocean views. Adjacent to this room there is a common area with a coffee bar and mini refrigerator as well as a second full ensuite bath finished in river rock.
The value proposition for this property is startlingly compelling: the average cost per person (with 18 guests) is approximately $250-$350 per night depending on the season. Event weeks including the AT&T Golf Tournament and the Concourse D’ Elegance run up to $425 per night per guest. It is worth noting that if you have rented previously in Pebble Beach, you’re surely aware that virtually every house that accommodates more than 12 guests has been added on to in a way that breaks up the flow, function, and usability of the home. Many of these properties feel like cavernous choppy “Frankenstiens” with poorly organized additions and renovations, resulting in degraded privacy and inconvenience. The property at Seven Coves is truly exceptional experience with no such compromises which affords guests unprecedented privacy, convenient flow, and stunning oceanfront drama.
