Was our second time back as a family (now of 5). AMAZING LOCATION. The prices for the size villas you get is incredible. This time a hot tub was broken along with the elevator right near our room so we had to walk the whole property grounds back & forth with 3 small children to get anywhere - so I think they need to prioritize this kind of stuff more. But other than that, we love the space, price and location for our family and will likely be back next year!

Property has come good amenities but some of them were not working like the elevator, the hot tubs and the mini golf. The hotel will call you the day off and tell you they don’t have your room available because a “pipe burst” and try to put you in a different room. We had the 2 bedroom reserved and they put us in two separate rooms. This has happened to us a few years prior with the same “pipe burst” excuse.

This has always been a family favorite. But in earnest it’s looking run down. The furniture was so stained that we asked for sheets to cover it so we could sit on it. The beautiful furniture looks like they have destroyed it with cleaning products. Just looked a bit throttled. It used to be so pristine. But the bed, the bed was so comfy and the sheets smelt very clean. The staff were so accommodating.

Our hotel room was clean, the front desk texted us every night to check if we needed anything which was nice because we needed sheets for the pullout bed. There were some obvious signs of aging but nothing we couldn’t look past. The onsite laundry was nice to have, credit card operated and only $2/cycle. We had a full kitchen which you’ll need since there is no restaurant on site and everything generally closes early around 9pm. Having a BBQ and common outdoor seating area was great for home cooked meals! Check out Windmill Food Hall for quick bites and better than fast food. The hotel was very close to the beach, just a 5 minute walk and the sunsets were amazing. The hotel had free boogie boards for body surfing, that was a blast with the waves. The hot tub was not hot. Was looking forward to relaxing my muscles after a long beach day. Maybe the weather being hot most of the time, nobody would use the pool. The mini golf course needs a good manicure. The grass was too thick to play. The rest of the grounds were well maintained! Access to volleyball, basketball, pickleball was really great for my busy boys. My teenager took full advantage of the workout room and my boys loved playing ping pong and pool. The arcade was available but kiddos didn’t want to pay. It was lovely to wake up and sit on my balcony with my coffee. Overall, it was a nice quiet, peaceful, and unexpected gem.

Front desk staff were very friendly and got us checked in quickly. Our room was clean and nice, but small. We had a 1 bedroom with separate living room & kitchen area. The kitchen area was very small and the round dining table was crowded. Refrigerator was a good size and dishwasher was great. Very little kitchen counter space. The paper towel holder was on the counter, which could be mounted on the wall to give more counter space. The bedroom was small and had a very tiny closet and not much drawer space for clothes. We were on the first floor and the kiddie play area was right in front of our room, but honestly not many kids were playing on it. So it wasn't really too disturbing. Overall, we enjoyed our week at Carlsbad Seapoint Resort. The beach/ocean is right across the street. A short walk from the resort. Very nice grassy areas to have family gatherings, with picnic tables and BBQs. The main town/shopping area is a short drive down the road, maybe 5 miles. Lots of restaurants. Be aware of time limits on parking. Would highly recommend this resort and we would return if we come back to Carlsbad.

This location was nicer than expected. They had different events for guests every night we were there including s'mores outside and a movie night. They also offer free use of towels, chairs, and boogie boards for use on the beach. The fireplace was a nice touch in the room and it had a good variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans for longer stays. I highly recommend this location.

There was only 1 working elevator used by guest anf cleaning staff. It took a long time for it the become available. Therewas a problem with the smoke alarm which sounded repeatedly without any smoke making activities. Also,marketingmaterials .

We were only there for one night and everything seemed fine however, there were small things that you noticed like stains on the sofa and dust on some of the furniture feel like it wasn’t properly cleaned or it’s just old and they need to replace some things. Otherwise it was a good stay my only other annoyance was housekeeping kept knocking on our door the morning that we were checking out before our checkout time I mean, they were relentless. They knocked three times and we told them yes we know we are packing up and checking out.

Really well maintained property. Great amenities. My kids absolutely loved all the activities (kite flying, make your own soda, duck race etc.) Staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing location right by the beach (walkable) and within a short drive of shops and restaurants. All the facilities were well maintained. We enjoyed the pools, game room and the pickleball and basketball courts. The free pool towels, wine and cheese were a nice extra. We will definitely be back!

We only stayed for 1 night and regret not staying longer to enjoy everything that this resort has to offer. We especially appreciated the heated family pool, warm enough to enjoy in the evening hours, and spacious jacuzzi. The 2-bedroom + 2 bathroom condo was very spacious, functional, and clean. May not be ideal for light sleepers as it’s right next to the train track, but it didn’t bother us and provided extra entertainment for train-loving toddlers.
