"Excellent experience. Reception staff on arrival was very welcoming as were others. Room was excellent at a great rate. Found hotel to be very clean. One minor issue was the bar. Service maybe a bit slow even though not overly busy. Overall very satisfied and would definitely recommend and return."

"Access to City Center Kilkenny was very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the pillows could have been better. The fan in the bathroom had no shut off and was a bit noisy. The room was a bit small but big enough for the two of us. "

"My only real complaint is no plant-based milk and butter-type spread. It was easy enough to put together a hot or cold vegan breakfast. The addition of oat milk and a spread and peanut butter would have made it excellent. "

"The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. "
