Carlisle is a cute downtown. Parking isn't always the easiest. There are a bunch of shops and restaurants. Outside of downtown there are plenty of stores to get pretty much everything you need or want.

The US Army Heritage center was pretty cool, we were only able to walk around outside but it was a nice walking trail. We found a couple different parks within 15 mins of the motel that were very nice we explored.

Best Western Premier The Central Hotel & Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"We were here for a conference. This hotel is in a great area. The only problem was there were kids running up and down through the halls, knocking on doors while we were trying to rest.
It is very clean and the staff are very friendly. "
"We had a great stay in this budget hotel. Beds and rooms were clean (outside of the well worn/dingy carpet), no obvious musty smell, AC unit was quiet and worked fine, Shower was decent. Breakfast was fine (hot items and waffles along with yogurt, cereal, juice, breads). Desk staff at check in and during breakfast very friendly. Would return no problem."
