"The room was cleaner than expected, and the location was very convenient for accessing Manhattan. However, the air conditioner was in poor condition, and the toilet malfunctioned. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the maintenance could be improved."

"I had a standard room, updated bathroom with awesome shower head (tons of water pressure) There is no mini-fridge in the basic room which besides that and the fact that the ice machine wasn't working and the next closest one was leaking all over the carpet two floors down the rest of the hotel is great. Vibrant action at the hotel bar. I didn't get to use the free Crunch membership but that will keep me coming back in the future. Overall this is an older hotel, but has lots of charm in my eyes. The staff are all very helpful and welcoming (that should be standard in this industry lol, but this team was a level above). Be sure to use the destination fee towards drinks or food at the bar!"

"The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the rooms are lovely. The free refilable water bottles and coffee in the morning are a nice touch. We had a suite and both the sofa bed and the bed were very comfortable, but they need to do a better job on cleaning the bathrooms. There was mould around the bathtub, bathroom ceiling and extraction fan. We never complained as weren't there for a long time, but I think I would be worried about it if I were on a longer stay."
