"Hotel is dated but was clean and staff were friendly. Not much in the way of amenities so can’t say anything about that. The food in the restaurant was very good!"

"First the good stuff. Parking was easy and right outside my room- good during the rainy season. The desk clerks were nice and pleasant. The bed was clean and the room itself was clean. I used the fridge, kettle and the hair dryer, and these were fine. The not so good stuff: the carpet was torn, the shower plumbing leaked and sprayed from a connection point down low, the locks on the door were non-functional (door chain with both parts screwed into the door frame instead of one part on the actual door, and a turn lock that did nothing). The worst was my room was apparently double booked so strangers were trying to get in late at night. I told them through the door that it was occupied but they came back with a clerk that proceeded to open the door until I spoke up again. The clerk quickly apologized and left but I ended up moving a chair to block the door just for some mental comfort while I slept. It was expensive for how outdated and rundown the interior was but maybe I'm just not used to Aussie prices yet. The walls are thin enough I could hear neighbors watching tv and chatting. I brought my white noise machine just in case, so I could sleep undisturbed and was glad I did. It looks much nicer in the picture."

"Great shopping Centre’s just close by and the Village cinema next door was a highlight as well. Lovely bed and a super cozy environment. Had a lovely and pleasant stay at Novotel"

"This property was very poorly appointed & maintained. It was not a "5 Star" clean nor did it have all that we expected for the description & price. The beds are truly awful. Low, very hard cheap mattresses, no mattress protectors or pillowtops. Really cold as just a sheet and thin quilt. No heating or cooling in one bedroom which also had hard floor coverings making it even colder. There were bugs, hair, dust and spills over window ledges, throughout the bathrooms, kitchen & stairs. The cutlery - if you can call it that - was appalling and included disposal bamboo forks. We were lucky I suppose there were 2 metal forks in the drawer. There was just enough for 2 people to eat a meal. The oven had not been cleaned nor the cookware. Overall really disappointing and considering the price not at all what was expected. The plus was having the garage and being close to the shopping centre. It honestly seems to be have been the display version and they bought the furniture with it including the ridiculous plastic plants and random ornaments. The supposed desk is a joke and the lounge was so uncomfortable that the dining chairs were more comfortable and what we used for all of our 10 day stay.I had random messages telling me to register and to put out bins when registration had been undertaken and the property does not have a kerbside collection. The management of this property should know this.I am sure there are much better options for accommodation in this area."
