"Lovely, welcoming town and easy check in process. House is up a steep road but the views are worth it. The owner was attentive to our needs and promptly responded to any issues we had. The house is the last one on the road and the surrounding views from all windows and porch were amazing. We spent many hours on the porch watching the birds on the hillsides around us and the light change on the mountains across the valley. The access to the Serra da Estrela is wonderful and it is worth a walk...

Hay que sustituir bombillas fundidas, poner wifi, papeleras en los baños, cambiar la ubicación de la televisión porque sobre la chimenea es un peligro (el mando de la TV estaba destrozado), y reponer leña para los días fríos. "Casa Bem Haja is lovely, quirky, bijou!! The small space is used very well, although I have to admit, I wouldn't have liked to squeeze the maximum 6 people in there (we were 4)! Jorge was very helpful and responded quickly to communication. Would definitely return if we hadn't just bought a house of our own nearby in Monsanto :-)"
