"First impressions matter. This property is part of a multi-unit building. The entryway and the stairwell was extremely dirty and smelly. The actual unit was great — clean, well maintained, and well equipped. The location was great with easy access to local highways and supermarkets. The downtown and waterfront, with a number of great restaurants, were in easy walking distance. The internet/wifi was very good once we got the network identified and received the password. The only problem with the property was the common areas of the building."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Catherine’s beautiful gîte! We drove from the UK and met up with the grandparents from the US in order to see all of the D-Day sites. This location was absolutely perfect to visit sites around Bayeux and also Utah Beach and Ste Mere Eglise. We previously stayed closer to Bayeux and this location was much better for visiting sites in both directions. The house is substantial and perfectly accommodated our group. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for easy dinners in. My son absolutely loved the dogs and chickens on the property! There are two groceries within easy driving distance. We had a packed 5 days and saw everything on our list and more! Would absolutely stay again!"

"We spend 3 nights at the Chateau and could not be happier. Its location is very convenient, between Utah and Omaha beaches, so it is an accessible and strategic base to visit Normandy. Within a few minutes, in Carentan-les-marais, the D-Day experience, restaurants and other small business make it a good option. But the best part is the chateau itself and its hosts, Cathy and Jacky. They put a great effort in making you feel comfortable and are very nice people, in order that you feel at home. The breakfast with them is amazing with high quality products and a great time chatting about diverse things and tips about our exploration of Normandy. We travelled with children and they found the experience great, plus all the comfort of having more rooms than a traditional hotel. We definitely recommend it and would return on another visit to Normandy."

"Gite de Tulliul is exactly as described in the vrbo script. The owner, Nicolas, was very helpful and easily communicative. Impeccably clean. Lovely "top notch" specification. Everything here you would need for a short break, as was ours, just 4 nights. But equally all you need for a MUTCH longer stay. Car is needed., but you are only 10 minutes from two lovely towns, Carentan, and, the fantastic, St Mere Eglise. A must see. So much to see and do. We were three family members, me 69 years, my son 42 years, and his son 20 years. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cannot recommend more. Thank you so much Nicolas."
