"Drove 200 miles arrived at 9pm to be told that the only food option was crisps or peanuts! Would not even offer and sandwich. The following morning I waited for 20 minutes without service for breakfast! Left and visited a local coffee shop."

"Grounds and castle were beautiful. Unfortunately spa facility’s were not open, nor were 2 of the 3 restaurants. Service was somewhat inconsistent, especially at the bar. Cosy cottage located 25 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre
"Lovely clean property with everything we needed. We were met by Victor, the host, who was busy gardening when we arrived. He was extremely friendly and kindly left us some goodies in the house which were greatly appreciated. We would definitely use this beautiful little property again."

"Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. ..."
