"Great location, asked for higher floor room due to street noise but they said it was not available! We were on 2nd floor 😢. They gave us a free drink ticket but said it was not good for a glass of sangria?!?"

"We are from Atlanta, Ga and stayed here 4/18 - 4/20 prior to our 30th anniversary cruise to Italy. The Hotel is amazing. The staff are amazing. They were so helpful and accommodated our every request. I would like to compliment the Chef de Partie and staff. The breakfast was fantastic! A full buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, sliced meat & cheeses, fruit, pastries, coffee, expresso, juice. It was such a pleasant surprise. Our room was wonderful and the bathrooms have been updated nicely. We loved everything about this beautiful palace. It was ornate but we felt totally at home. We cannot say enough good things about El Avenida. If you are comparing to other hotels, stop now and book your room! Hasta la proxima! "
