On the ground floor there is a private garage from which you can reach the first floor. It consists of: modern, fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Bright living room with TV area and table and chairs and French window with access to lake view balcony. Bathroom with shower and laundry area with washing machine and dryer. On the second floor there is a first double bedroom with access to the lake view balcony, and a second double bedroom with attic loft with two futons. Carate Urio is also an ideal starting point for exploring the Lake Como area, with numerous hiking trails leading to extraordinary viewpoints. The village is well connected thanks to public transport, such as boats that navigate the lake and buses on the main road that connects the village to the main nearby towns. The most beautiful restaurants in the area are easily reachable by car.
There is a grocery shop and butcher\'s shop in Carate Urio, within walking distance of the flat, but no super market. The nearest supermarket is called Bennet and is located in the village of Tavernola, 7.5 km away from the flat.GETTING AROUNDPlease note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have arrived at your destination. We suggest considering alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers.
