"Incredibly remote and rural location with the best located pool I've experienced! (light salt water too which was lovely) Very helpful and pleasant owners (Francoise & Giacomo) who also left us in private. We were looking for a few tranquil and relaxing days with access to coast/towns and mountains during the day - this surpassed our expectations! very ecological with solar power etc. Tip; take a swim or sit by the pool after dark, the sky at night is breathtaking - highly recommended."

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"Location tres propre et spacieuse ou il ne manque rien, belle piscine et terrain de petanque sympa. Marylene et sa famille sont tres accueillants, serviables et de bons conseil. The location feels remote ( a lovely little village with a gorgeous backdrop of hills & mountains) but is a short ten minute drive to get everything you might need. We loved the terrace (& the sun!) But could also imagine it is a lovely autumn and winter retreat. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!"

"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"This gite has superb views from a south facing balcony which would be a sun trap in good weather (we were unfortunate and had two unusually wet days out of four!). The cottage is small but there’s plenty of space for two people with comfortable twin beds and comfortable chairs in a sitting area. There is a very good modern shower in a wet room. "Au bout d'un chemin de 5 kms, nous avons découvert un cadre idyllique, au milieu de la forêt et des oliviers, dans un calme absolu. Les hôtes sont adorables, très attentifs et disponibles. Tout proches, nous avons découvert des paysages magnifiques, des villages perchés, des gorges, des vallées, la montagne, qui nous ont enchantés. Bref, des vacances très reposantes, dépaysantes et loin de la foule. Nous revenons ressourcés !"

"L'annee passee on y est alle pour la première fois. (voir notre commentaire de ce temps la). Alors, cette annee pour la deuxieme fois... Et on connait des gens qui sont y alles pour la 10e fois! Et pourquoi? Michelin donne des etoiles aux restaurants, 1, 2, ou 3 etoiles, ou -tant mieux- des BIB-gourmands. Mais chez Mado&Jean-Louis c'est comme un ciel etoile!! Magnifique, a tous les egards.
