"Avoid at all costs during the summer months. While the hotel might be adequate for winter, bare minimum but appropriately clean, there was no AC. It got so hot in my room that it gave me a headache. I couldn’t sleep as it was like an oven. Quite frankly, this poses a grave health risk. I’m from the Caribbean so I know hot, and tolerate it well. This was on a different and dangerous level. Thankfully I was only there one night. I do NOT recommend this place."

"Great location right on the edge of Bordeaux's old town, with bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The room was rustic and full of character but had all the modern comforts you need: A hot shower, tea and coffee facilities, comfortable bed. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."
